Chronology of cameras Rolls Camera Mfg. Co.
Traduction de Sylvain Halgand.
By receiving the USA, I said myself that the seller dupe me and that the salesman had completely peeled it.
Lately, I saw another of them to also sell on Ebay, “naked”, however on “Popular Photography Directory Issue” of 1941, it is introduced with a sleeving. It is thus difficult to form an opinion about the state of this camera.
The use of the aluminum, already evoked with Mercury, does not serve esthetics of the long-term cameras, because those blacken consecutively with the oxidation of aluminum.
The lens is a meniscus 16/62 mm. It seems mounted on an extractable tube, but it of it is nothing.
Nothing explains it why name “twin”.
